Herbaceum is a herbal body balm with versatile effects, enriched with plant decoctions, infusions and hydrolats, derived from the best herbal medicine traditions. In the process of developing its formula, effective solutions, drawn from the experiences of past generations were used, when herbs and other plants were used to treat various skin ailments.
HERBACEUM is a unique composition of Polish natural collagen, plant oils and macerates as well as herbal extracts and decoctions, selected with particular care in terms of the synergy of their action. As a result, one lotion contains as many as 26 plant extracts - a unique spectrum of bioactive substances of natural origin: nourishing, moisturizing and regenerating.
Herbaceum cares for the skin with problems such as excessive dryness, dilated blood vessels, so-called spider veins (telangiectasias), acne, atopic, sensitive, irritated skin, and lacking elasticity and vitality. The balm is perfect for everyday use because thanks to its light consistency it is very well absorbed, while deeply moisturizing dry skin. Already after the first application, one can feel real relief and even dry skin becomes moisturized and smooth.
Collagen (Collagen)
natural collagen, obtained only in Poland, is the only collagen protein known to biochemists, which maintains the conformation of the triple helix outside the living organism. As a result, these peptides retain their biological activity, effectively accelerating the healing and scarring processes of minor skin damage, and effectively moisturizing and regenerating it.
Aloe (Aloe barbadensis)
is extremely rich in essential amino acids, vitamins from group A and vitamins E and C, as well as micro and macro elements (including calcium, sodium, potassium, manganese, chromium, zinc), which provide the skin with proper nourishment. Enzymes contained in the plant help to remove dead epidermal cells, supporting the regeneration of the outermost layer of the skin. Aloe strengthens the skin and protects it against the harmful effects of external factors, and additionally strongly moisturizes, provides nutrients and regulates the pH of the epidermis to its natural level.
Horse chestnut (Aesculus sp.)
is rich in many healing compounds, such as flavonoids, tannins, coumarins or carotenoids with anti-inflammatory and sealing blood vessels properties. Aescin inhibits the enzyme that is responsible for the degradation of the collagen building the walls of blood vessels. Thanks to this, it protects against the destructive effects, improving their flexibility and increasing their resistance to expansion and bursting. Horse chestnut extract is also recommended for mature and sagging skin, as it improves its firmness.
Rosehip (Rosa canina)
its fruit is characterized by a very high concentration of vitamin C, thanks to which it brightens the skin and discolourations. It has softening, moisturizing and smoothing properties. Rosehip extract has anti-inflammatory and astringent properties and accelerates the healing of minor abrasions and scratches of the epidermis. In addition, it protects the skin against the harmful effects of free radicals and strengthens collagen and elastin fibres, increasing skin firmness and elasticity.
Asiatic pennywort (Centella asiatica)
its properties and healing effects have been appreciated for years in Indian natural medicine - Ayurveda - because this plant has a strong regenerating, smoothing and firming effect. Active substances derived from pennywort stimulate the regeneration of the epidermis and stimulate microcirculation, contributing to the fight against cellulite and preventing the formation of stretch marks. Centella extract significantly increases the level of skin hydration and tension, as it enhances the synthesis of hyaluronic acid; in addition, it accelerates the relief of inflammation.
Mountain arnica (Arnica montana)
has unique healing properties, resulting from a very rare combination of active substances. Arnica flowers contain sesquiterpene lactones, including helenalin, numerous flavonoids, phytosterols, carotenoids, triterpenes, tannins, and organic acids. These are substances with a broad spectrum of action that penetrate the epidermis very well, reaching the deeper skin layers. By stimulating blood circulation in the skin, they have anti-swelling, anti-inflammatory and strengthening properties. Arnica is especially recommended for couperose skin because it shrinks and strengthens the capillaries, making the "spider veins" less visible.
Ginseng (Panax ginseng)
its health properties are used in traditional Far East medicine for over 4,000 years, it is described as a panacea for almost all ailments. It has a strong anti-wrinkle and anti-ageing effect, which is due to the content of ginsenosides. These compounds increase the ability of haemoglobin to attach oxygen, which results in better nutrition and oxygenation of skin cells. Ginseng, by improving the blood supply to the skin, stimulates the process of renewal of its cells, thanks to which the dull tissue regains its smoothness and nice colour.
Witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana)
thanks to flavonoids, the extract strengthens and protects the walls of blood vessels and has an antioxidant effect. On the other hand, the high content of tannins with antibacterial and antiviral properties means that acne-prone skin lesions are eliminated.
Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii)
unrefined shea butter is rich in many valuable unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins A, E, and F, which penetrate the skin layers, and intensively nourish and regenerate it.
Sweet almond oil (Prunus dulcis)
extremely gentle on the skin, rich in saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, proteins, mineral salts and vitamins A, D, E and B group, it has a beneficial effect on the natural skin microflora. It stimulates cell renewal in its outer layers, thus rebuilding the protective lipid coat.
Marigold flower macerate (Calendula officinalis)
is a very rich source of carotene and active substances with regenerating, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It soothes inflammation and irritation. It helps with minor skin abrasions, insect bites, skin rashes and allergies.
Chinese lemon (Schisandra chinensis)
its main activity is antioxidation. This plant restores the skin's elasticity and delays the ageing process. The high content of vitamin C in the citrus fruit stimulates the production of collagen in the skin and increases its protective barrier, while soothing and reducing redness.
Sea buckthorn oil (Hippophae rhamnoides)
a real "vitamin bomb" recommended for sensitive and couperose skin. Thanks to biologically active ingredients, it improves blood circulation in the skin, influencing its nourishment and oxygenation, which in turn improves its colour. This oil is irreplaceable in the care of dry, damaged, flaky and irritated skin. It significantly reduces the visibility of scars.
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)
with a bactericidal and disinfecting effect, it is ideal for the care of oily, acne-prone, irritated and mature skin, because it also has a firming effect.
Turmeric rhizome extract (Curcuma longa)
is an excellent source of antioxidants, including curcumin, which is a powerful antioxidant. This plant has an antibacterial and sebaceous gland regulating effect, which is why it is ideal for acne-prone skincare.
Beeswax (Cera flava)
contains about 300 valuable ingredients - vitamins, mineral salts, fatty acid esters, proteins and lipids - which reach the deeper layers of the skin, intensely moisturize, nourish and lubricate it, making it soft and smooth. Effectively protects the skin against external factors: frost and wind.
Apply the formula all over the body, focusing
especially on dry parts. Massage in upward circular movements until completely
absorbed. We suggest using the balm twice a day in the morning and evening, and
